KRETZ
CONSULTING
Enterprise SEO. AI Search Infrastructure. No Junior Layer.
Kretz Consulting is a senior-led SEO and AI search consultancy built for enterprise brands and high-growth companies that can't afford to run experiments with mid-level talent.
We work with a small number of clients and every engagement is handled by a principal. There's no account manager buffering the work, no junior associate interpreting the brief. What you get is direct access to the thinking, the strategy, and the execution — from someone who has done this at scale.
Search has structurally changed. Ranking in Google is still a revenue lever, but it's no longer the only one. AI-generated answers, large language model citations, and generative search interfaces are reshaping how buyers find vendors, validate decisions, and short-list consultants before a human ever enters the picture.
We build the infrastructure to win in both environments.
CAPABILITIES
Enterprise & Technical SEO
Site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and the technical foundation that separates durable organic performance from traffic that collapses at the next algorithm update.
Multi-Location SEO
Local search strategy for brands operating across dozens to hundreds of locations — structured for scale, not duplicated manually location by location. Franchise groups and regional chains with 20+ locations are a core focus.
AI Search Visibility & GEO
Generative engine optimization (GEO) — the emerging discipline of ensuring your brand, expertise, and content appear accurately in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and the systems that will follow them. Most brands have no strategy here. Most agencies don't either.
Fractional Search Leadership
For growth-stage companies that need VP-level search thinking without a full-time hire — embedded in your team, aligned to your business targets, accountable to outcomes.
HOW THIS
WORKS
Most SEO agencies optimize for client volume. The result is a delivery model where senior talent sells the engagement and junior talent does the work — with a layer of account management in between to manage expectations about why results are slower than promised.
That's not how this works.
Kretz Consulting maintains a limited client roster deliberately. Capacity exists to work deeply — not to process accounts. Engagements are structured for meaningful outcomes, not to keep a retainer running indefinitely.
If you're looking for a vendor to execute a checklist, there are cheaper options. If you're looking for a strategic partner who will tell you what's actually limiting your organic performance and build a system to change it, that's the conversation we have.
PRINCIPALS
Nick Kretz
Founder & Managing Partner
Nick Kretz has 18 years of experience at the intersection of technical SEO, growth strategy, and organic search infrastructure. His background spans enterprise B2B, multi-location consumer brands, and high-growth e-commerce — with former VP of Growth leadership informing how he connects search investment to revenue outcomes, not just traffic metrics.
Kretz Consulting was built on a direct thesis: the people who understand how search actually works at an enterprise level shouldn't be managing 40 accounts. They should be working with a few companies that are serious about building durable, compounding organic presence — and winning in the next generation of search before their competitors figure out the question has changed.
Nate Kretz
Chief Systems Architect, AI & Search Infrastructure
The question most SEO consultancies can't answer is how to scale the work without scaling headcount at the same rate. Nate Kretz is the answer to that question.
As Chief Systems Architect, Nate leads the design and development of the AI-driven systems that sit underneath Kretz Consulting's client engagements — the infrastructure that replaces manual SEO workflows with agentic, automated pipelines built to compound over time. Where most firms are still producing strategy decks and handing them to teams of coordinators, Nate is building systems that execute.
His scope covers the full architecture layer: agent-based SEO and content frameworks, internal automation infrastructure, technical strategy for enterprise clients, and the ongoing discipline of increasing output per unit of labor. That last point is the one that matters most to clients — it means you're not paying for process. You're paying for systems that work while your team is doing something else.
Nate's role is the direct bridge between business growth objectives and executable AI infrastructure. If the goal is durable organic performance at scale, his job is to design the systems architecture that makes that goal operationally achievable — not theoretically.
WHO WE
WORK WITH
We work best with:
Enterprise and mid-market brands with established digital presence looking to solve structural performance problems — not companies starting from zero
Multi-location and franchise operators with 20+ locations that need scalable local search architecture, not location-by-location manual work
Growth-stage companies that have outgrown their current SEO approach and need senior thinking to reset the foundation
Leadership teams — CMOs, VPs of Marketing, CEOs — who want a strategic partner in the room, not another vendor in the queue
Engagements are typically retainer-based. We don't do one-time audits that go unimplemented. If you want a report, we can point you to a tool. If you want to change what's happening in search, that takes a working relationship.
ENGAGEMENTS ARE
LIMITED BY DESIGN
If you're evaluating whether Kretz Consulting is the right fit for what you're trying to build, the best next step is a direct conversation.
